April 22nd has been designated as Earth Day every year since 1970, and there are many commemorative activities happening the weekend before and after. Here at Blue Skye Farm, we like to take the day off from office work on the actual date and head outside, working on the farm to help bring healthy food to the community, and continue conservation work important to our neighborhood.

5:00 Firemaking, Biochar & Carbon Impact Workshop;
7:00 Campfire Pot-Luck Dinner;
